FoxT Delivers New Enterprise Access Management Capabilities
Powerful new controls capabilities help organizations simplify and secure data access and privileged account management
Palo Alto, CA - October 1, 2006 - Fox Technologies, Incorporated, (www.foxt.com), a leading provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance automation, today announced a new release of its FoxT IT Controls (BoKS) product. FoxT IT Controls enables organizations to reduce the risk of unauthorized transactions, protect data integrity, and consolidate audit reporting with multi-layered access management. The product delivers centralized, rules-based access administration across heterogeneous systems, encrypted network communication, consolidated audit logs, and enhanced desktop security and usability.
This latest release of FoxT IT Controls takes enterprise access management to a new level of performance. Enhancements in this release include:
- A zero configuration, centrally managed SSH solution including a Windows-based SSH Client supporting X.509 certificate authentication
- Enhanced auditing capabilities including a full-scale keystroke logging solution
- Powerful new capabilities that simplify and strengthen management of privileged accounts on UNIX & Linux
- New access control, protected communication, and credential management features for applications run in terminal server environments
"Enabling organizations to properly implement and enforce their IT security policies and address access management at every layer of vulnerability will deliver even greater ROI and enhanced security," said Subhash Tantry, CTO at FoxT. "This release further extends FoxT's access control across the enterprise, and gives organizations many more options for controlling access and managing privileged accounts."
The new release of FoxT IT Controls enables organizations to be even more proactive in designing and enforcing strong data security policies that align with best practices and facilitate business processes. IT Controls customers can look forward to gaining better control over more of their IT infrastructure, and will be able to securely delegate more privileges for specific tasks.
"IT organizations are facing tremendous challenges", said FoxT CEO Max Seybold. "There is a strong demand for more 'value from IT' which in reality is a call for cost-savings and more efficiency. At the same time, the complexity of regulatory compliance is consuming a good portion of IT budgets. A structured and integrated approach to IT governance, risk and compliance management is therefore more important than ever. I am happy to conclude that FoxT's secure GRC platform is making an important contribution in helping customers to meet these challenges."
