BoKS Access Control for Desktops

What does it do?

BoKS Access Control for Desktops is an enterprise solution designed to help companies control access to their end-user workstations. The solution's key functions are:
  • Access to all desktops is defined centrally using access policies. Administrators can define security policies for accessing desktops, then distribute them automatically.

  • Smart cards can be extended with digital virtual cards to provide a range of operating benefits.
  • Administrators can expand and restrict system access in several ways, and can also define the extent of user roaming to control desktop access in the domain.
  • The solution includes features to make certificate distribution, enrollment and renewal much simpler and smoother across the enterprise.
  • A comprehensive, fully-supported SSH Windows client is included to give users secure access from Windows workstations to UNIX and Linux-based resources
  • Features an integrated file encryption facility, including group-based encryption, and secure file deletion.
  • Single sign-on for users, including automatic login to desktops, Windows applications, and network resources.
