What does it do?

FoxT Password Minder provides an automated, policy-driven password vault for privileged password management in FoxT domains when systems are down or being cold booted.

Manage which administrators can log into the FoxT Password Minder system.

How is it used?

While FoxT ServerControl eliminates privileged password sharing for day-to-day operations, there are still times when the root or administrator password is required—for logging into a server in single-user mode after a cold restart, for instance. FoxT Password Minder, an optional add-on module, manages the checkout of privileged and functional account passwords and automatically changes passwords after the configurable check-out period has ended to eliminate any need for password sharing and insecure documentation.
